Started by four friends with a passion for food, music, beers and dive bars, Alby's began in 2021 at the height of lockdown, when a couple of friends (one being a chef) found themselves with a bit more time on their hands...
With all music venues and dive bars closed for the foreseeable, this group of friends turned their hands to baking (what turned out to be) some pretty damn good sourdough bread.
After creating what was initially a bread delivery service to neighbours and friends in Kennington, the enterprise and excitement of it all carried on, for two years in fact with Alby's eventually moving on to supply top restaurants, hotels and bars in Soho, South and East London. As well as finding its first official premises at home in the Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre.

After hosting several pizza nights in their Vauxhall bakery, it was clear they were onto something...
Experimentation turned to obsession, obsession turned to expertise, as the work continued to perfect the Alby's product and process.
In 2022, they made the leap into New York style pizza (the best kind), opening up a pizza shop inside a local tap room in Vauxhall.
Several years on, Alby's Pizza operates out of some of London's most vibrant and popular venues, from adult fairgrounds to gig venues; providing world class NY style pizza to customers and fans from all walks of life.

Characterised by 22" pizzas (yes they're huge) and sold by the slice or the whole pie, Alby's are all about simplicity; utilising the best quality, sustainable ingredients, exciting specials and a unique dough that you won't find anywhere else...
